Round Flip

Round-off back handspring / flip flop?
So I quit gymnastics couple months ago because my family doesn’t have the money for it. And I still really want to get my round-off flip flop on my own. When I do my back handspring, I can jump back and do it.
The only problem I have is to keep my feet together when I jump back into the handspring. When I land my feet are together and in the middle of my flip flop my feet are together. They only time it isn’t is when I’m beginning the flip flop. Can anyone give me tips on how to keep my feet together in the beginning of my back handspring? I would greatly appreciate it. And I can only practice outside in my back yard where’s there’s grass and my basement, but it’s wooden flooring. So some safe tips I can do by myself would be great.
Try getting a elastic headband and put it around the bottom of your legs. do a backhand spring with the hand band there and you’ll feel resistance when your legs are coming apart. After you feel that resistance, focus on squeezing, point your toes to the ground as you push off, and keep your heels and ankles together! Good Luck!
