How come I been working out and now I actually weigh more?

I been working out like crazy for the past 2 months and I drastically eliminated all the sweets and fried stuff from my diet and switched to whole grains and healthy low fat food. I recently weigh myself and I don’t understand why I weigh more. My body looks much more toned but why is the scale not dropping? I want to lose 20 pounds. How can i achieve this if I’m gaining muscle?

You weigh more because you are gaining muscle mass, which weighs more than fat. If you want to lose weight, try doing more cardio. Elliptical, treadmill, good old fashioned jogging are all good. It sounds like you’re doing the right thing with your diet though. Keep it up, you’ll get there!
