Are there any ACOG clone scopes that can be used on a real firearm?

I’ve been looking for a scope that could be a clone or replica of the Trijicon ACOG series to use on an AR-15 platform, but the real ones are just so darn expensive (about over $1K for a new one). But then again, I hear that a lot of imitations are not decent enough. I also hear that the ACOG clones cannot zero in correctly with a .223 cal rifle.
