What was the new episode of South Park based on?

If you watch the new season, then you know that they do parodies on events that everybody knows about. This week, it was a about homeless people that were pretty much zombies. My friend and I are arguing about what it is based on. I say the X-Box 360 game Dead Rising, because Kyle gives up his $20 that he saved to by an X-Box game. My friend says Dawn of the Dead, because of the part where Randy looks through the binoculars down below at all the zombies I mean homeless people. So who’s right?

Dawn of the Dead and Dead Rising are a lot alike. I think it was more like Dawn of the Dead though.
