Its a Simmons Prosport series with a 3-9×40 zoom. Is it a good scope? What do you think?

Simmons is an economy scope builder, and their products have been used on many rifles for a long time. If you need something to put on a sporting rifle or 22lr then they would be a good choice.If I were going out elk or moose hunting or someplace where I couldn’t get a quick replacement scope then I would opt for something of better reputation and build quality. I’m not saying anything bad about the scopes, but I think if I have an amazing shot or hunting opportunity, then I’m probably getting a Nikon or Leupold instead. You never kick yourself for buying quality, especially when it’s out hunting.
