Shot Shell

What’s your opinion on the Taurus Judge using a .410 shot shell?

maybe using 000 buckshot
would you consider that a fun piece to have

Its a novelty, but i know several people who own and like them. When people say it has good ‘short range’ effectiveness, we are speaking of distances of about 10 feet. Sure, its shoots much further, but pellet spread and terminal ballistics suffer a lot. I would NOT load one with bird shot unless i was shooting snakes or mice.

Bottom line, its a crappy carry gun, but could be good for home defense or messing around. I would not make it your first or only defensive weapon though.
