Silver Bdc

30-06 and the 7mm Remington Magnum.?
My Buddy and Me just hit the age where were allowed to go hunting with our old mans. We will be hunting mainly Caribou, Moose, and Black bear, with the odd coyote, wolf, and whitetail. My buddy picked up a Remington model 700 CDL SF Limited 30-06 with a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x, 40mm shooting 180 grain silver tips. I got a Remington model 700 BDL 7mm Remington Magnum with a Nikon Monarch 3-12x, 42mm with BDC recticle shooting 160. grain accubonds. What do you think of our rifles?
Two of the most trusted big game rounds in the world. Both will serve you well on your hunts for those mentioned animals. The Bushnell Elite’s and Nikon Monarch’s are two decent scope that should handle the recoil of those two calibers. The Rem. 700 CDL SF is my favorite rifle in the Model 700 line, and the BDL is a classic for over 40 years.
