Silver Duplex

I need help picking out colors for my rooms?
I know what I want in my living room. These are small spaces (it’s a long story, but my parents house used to be a duplex and now that my brother is moving out for law school, I get half of the house to myself) so keep that in mind.
Every space I would like to be very minimal. Smooth, clean, and modern. In my living room I’ve decided on black and red with either white or silver/metal accents. I’m going to have a black leather couch with a red chair, light gray walls, one of them either with Victorian wallpaper or red paint.
I just have no idea what to make my bedroom, my kitchen area, or my bathroom. I want the modern/smooth/clean look in every room but I’m not sure if I want to carry the black throughout.
I had an idea for my bathroom to be teal and black. And MAYBE my room magenta and black but I don’t want anything to clash.
Any tips/ideas/suggestions? I’m getting most of my furniture from Ikea and I’m open to anything.
Thank you!
Blues are good for bathrooms, and also fishtanks and ‘watery’ things are good..So teal would be nice, not sure about all this black though. In the bedroom, skin tones work well. So that could vary from light beige to dark brown. Black isn’t good for bedrooms. Hope this helps, only suggestions! =)
