Sks Svd

wich rifle should i use for a sniper ?

i have no more option to choose
i just have :
- SKS
- SVD
-mauser k98
-m16
-mosin nagant

which one if i scope it will be accurate for sniping at long range ?

depends.
the AR1/M16 is good for within 400 yards, if you want lightweight, accurate, low recoil, rapid fire (follow up shots) Beyond 400 yards the .223 round has lost too much energy and it won’t be effective.

the SVD is like the AR15/M16, but in a larger caliber and effective to about 800 meters. Not as accurate, but can be very effective regardless. also semiautomatic, helps with the recoil compensation, good for multiple targets or follow up shots. Generally has a scope on it.

The Mosin lacks a scope and a base, one can be attached for about $150. its a very accurate rifle if properly tuned. can hit 1000 yards accurately. Used in two world wars.

The Mauser is the alternative to the Mosin more suited since it has a scope base and suitable bolt design. Its no more accurate than the Mosin.

Form person preferences, at extreme range (800+ meters) I’d take the Mosin. within 700 yards the SVD.

Russian shooting firearms SKS, AK, XD .45, SAA .45, SHOTGUN, MOSIN, AR-15, 1911, PSL
