Scope help for a 22-250 HOWA hogue?

I have a 22-250 Howa Hogue and it currently has a scope. I would like to get a fairly high power scope with reticle that compensates for different yardage. There are 3 different scopes that i am looking at NIKON COYOTE RIFLESCOPE(not a fan of the BDC reticles), Barska Varmint Rifle scope(it has the rangefinding reticle and i would like to know how these works), NcStar Mark III 4-16×50 with the Sniper Reticle or the NcStar Mark III 6-24×50 Rangefinding. Please give a little insight. Thank You and Happy Hunting

The BDC scopes have to match your projectile exactly. A mil-dot is better. You can measure your projectile speed and other parameters and then go to various web pages and print out a ballistic sheet. It will tell you what range is zeroed for each dot. I was a fan of cheap scopes until just recently. I have had a Tasco 3-9X40 on a .30-06 for about 5 years. It seemed fine to me. My son bought a Tasco 6-24xSomething to put on his LR-243. It was unusable above 18X. He then bought a Millet 4-16X56 30mm scope with mil-dot reticle. It is nice. With the mil-dot, according to the printout and actual use, you hold one and a half dots high at 440 yds. It runs about $350 with rings. I recently sighted in the .30-06 with my younger son and it was hard to believe the poor image through the Tasco after using the Millet.
