What’s the best stain cleaner to use to remove blood stains on clothing?

For a long time I had a kit by Electrolux which contained several bottles of various stain cleaners each designed for a specific type stain. One of the bottles was a “protein spotter” which I found very effective in removing dried blood however I ran out of it and Electrolux no longer manufacture the kit. It’s a very handy thing to have around. Does anyone know of an equally good “blood stain remover”?

Lay the spot over 2 paper towels, Saturate the spot with hydrogen peroxide and then blot on top with more paper towels. Wash in an enzyme based laundry detergent such as Era.
