Can I put a Tasco scope on a spring air rifle?

I might buy a Tasco 6-24x Target / Varmint Riflescope VAR624X42M. Can a Tasco scope be used with a spring air gun? it doesn’t say it is specifically ok for use with a springer.

If it doesn’t say its designed as an airgun/springer scope then I wouldn’t use it on one. Its reported that nothing is harder on a scope than a magnum springer. So while it might stand-up to the bi-directional recoil from a springer, it might not. You’d be better off getting a scope designed for use with a springer, like those Pyramid Air sells which are marked as being shock proof.
