If the Taurus Judge is a good gun for home defense, then wouldn’t a 410 shotgun be just as good?
The Judge isn’t good for HD. It’s a novelty item. A brick affixed to what feels like a broomhandle.
I have no doubts about how well a load of single ought buck from a .410 could put a man down. I’ve shot enough deer with .410 slugs to know how well a .410 can “do it”, when used properly.
The Taurus Judges were just a failure. An abortion that never happened.
