Good long range Rifle Scope for the price?

my friend says his Bushnell Trophy(4x-12x-40mm i think) is awesome and at a good price range… but would it do for shooting out to around 700yds?

Burris 8-32 Signature series is a VERRRRRRRY good scope for the price.
