Does it require milling to attach weaver rail to an A5 paintball gun?

I am looking to get an A5 but I want to know if I need drill into my gun to mount a weaver rail.

The Tippmann A5 has a combination 3/8″ and Weaver rail, so there is not usually a need to attach a Weaver rail to it.

However, some sights, that don’t have much clearance on their mounts can’t fit on the Weaver rail, because the 3/8″ inch rail gets in the way. This is more common on low-profile sights like reflex sights, as the mount rings for scopes are usually not a problem. You can use a Dremel or similar tool to cut away a portion of the 3/8″ rail to get clearance – or use a different sight with a 3/8-inch mount.
