Whitetail Classic

444 marlin?
Ok, i grew up with lever action rifles. They are just…classic. And theyve been around alot longer then most other actions.
So, Here the question.
My nephew is turning 13 soon, He shoots my sons 20ga all the time, and loves goose hunting. As well as rabbit hunting with a .22, So i would like to take him deer hunting and get him a rifle for his birthday. Can he handle the 444 marlin, or 308 marlin, or 30-30?
Mainly im looking at the 444 marlin because he can drop whitetail, mule, wild hog, and all.
Can he handle the 444 marlins recoil, 308 marlins recoil, ir the 30-30′s recoil?
He is such a fan of lever action rifles. As am i. My drawers are FILLED with leverevolution rounds. So, can he?
He is very small for his size, but can shoot the 20GA hours on end without complaining of the recoil.
I dont know exactly the size of a .444, but id say he should be able to handle a .308, and if not that, definetly a .30-30, and besides being loud, they have virtually no kickback, or recoil.
