Question about new riflescope?

i ordered the bushnell trophy xlt scope to go with my new rifle and it wasnt until i already placed the order i started looking into the nitty gritty and i ran across the list of compatible cartidges at the bushnell website under manuals. it said it was compatible with most of the popular hunting cartidges but my cartidge wasnt on there. so do you think it would be compatible with the .308?

the 308 is comparable with the 30-06 with the lighter bullets 110-150 but after that the 30-06 has the edge, with the heavier bullets, but any cartridges that do 3000 fps the scope will work for, here how I sight my rifle in 270 Winchester 130 grain Nosler, 31/2 inches high at 100 yards, 4 inches high at 200 yards, dead on at 300 yards and 9 inches low at 400 yards and 25 inches low at 500 yards, this is with a Bushnell 4x12x40 scope
